Before establishing JDA, James held senior commercial roles within tier one and international contractor organisations, as well as senior positions within Australian consultancies, working on complex and distressed projects.

What Sets JDA Apart

JDA combines independent expert capability with genuine contractor side commercial experience.

JDA provides direct, senior level quantum expertise on construction disputes, delivering focused and commercially grounded analysis.

Having spent over two decades within contractor organisations delivering major projects, his analysis is grounded in how projects are actually delivered, how costs are incurred and how contractual mechanisms operate in practice.

The focus is on:

  • Clear and robust quantum analysis
  • Commercially credible positions
  • Detailed interrogation of cost and entitlement
  • Opinions that withstand scrutiny in adjudication and formal dispute processes

JDA is engaged on complex matters involving significant sums, where the analysis must be both technically sound and commercially realistic.
